What we collect
Your email address, the files you upload, and technical request data such as IP address, country and browser user-agent. Reporters may optionally leave an email address with a report.
Why we collect it
To run your account, serve your share links, count views and downloads for you, enforce rate limits, and investigate abuse reports.
File storage
Files live in private object storage. They are never public by default: every download goes through a short-lived signed URL generated only after your link, expiry and password rules are checked.
Retention
Deleted and expired files are kept in a moderation-only area for a limited retention window so they can be restored on request, then permanently purged. Access logs are retained for security review.
Who can see your data
Your files are yours. TrustSend staff do not browse private files: a file's contents are only opened when that file has been reported for abuse, or when you ask support to look at it. Staff can see account and file records (names, sizes, dates, links) needed for moderation and support. We never sell your files or personal information, and we do not share them with advertisers.
Your choices
You can delete files at any time, disable a share link instantly, set expiry dates, and add password protection. Contact support to request account deletion.
